A2Z Ozone Complies with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA)
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulates ozone generators under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). FIFRA regulates the use of pesticides and pesticide devices within the United States. Ozone kills pests such as insects, rodents, fungi, and mold and mildew. Ozone generators produce ozone, so they fall into the category of a pesticide device.
We are in compliance with the U.S. EPA. We have an EPA Establishment number. We follow guidelines for our product labeling. Each year, we submit a report on our sales into the USA.
For pesticides, there is another step, as each pesticide sold needs a unique number. Our ozone generators produce a pesticide, so we need the EPA establishment number to sell.
We do not have an approval to sell, or an endorsement by the U.S. EPA. The U.S. EPA does not approve or endorse ozone generators. We comply with the regulations of the EPA. Any company that says it has approval from the U.S. EPA is not truthful. It is a good idea to ensure that your ozone generator supplier is in compliance.
