How Often Do You Replace Stones?
Under normal use, A2Z Ozone recommends replacing stones and tubing every six months to a year. If you see discoloration or spots, those are signs that the stones need to be replaced.
Tubing is sold separately. We sell tubing by the foot, and we sell tubing and stone sets in various sizes.
Selecting the Stone
Your application does not have much bearing on which stone to choose. It is mainly a preference. Some customers use the same type of replacement stones each time.
Which Color Stone?
The gray stones have a coarser finish. They produce a larger gas bubble. The white stones produce a finer bubble. Either will distribute the ozone quickly.
Which Shape Stone?
Some customers prefer the round stones. The oblong stones are a newer design. They will fit into smaller openings. But, it is all a matter of preference.
A2Z Ozone Diffuser stones are made from crystal quartz glass and have a coarse texture. This allows the ozone gas to be expelled through the stone creating fine bubbles that will spread the ozone evenly throughout the water.
These 1″ stones are exclusively for use with the Aqua-6 and Aqua-8.
Directions:Â Insert the tubing into ozone out port on the unit, place the other end of the tubing around the plastic part on stone. Insert stone into liquid and begin.
