A2Z Ozone’s Z-Series Commercial-Grade Water Ozone Generators are equipped with an air pump, so they do not need an external air source to operate efficiently.
Using an oxygen source increases the amount of ozone production to close to 100% and ensures a more pure form of ozone creation. Without oxygen, the generator produces about 1/5 of the ozone indicated. Plus, using ambient air produces byproducts along with the ozone.
